Abstract: |
Non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma has emerged as a new promising tool in physics and other sciences. This study reported building system of generation dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) at atmospheric pressure and its thermal characterizations, the discharge was produced by applying high voltage (5-25 KV) and frequency, in this study the thermal characterization was made by measuring discharge temperature at different applied voltage and different distances from barrier. The results showed that the applied voltage and distance between electrodes effect on discharge (increasing or decreasing) according to operation conditions because they affects, as expected, the produced plasma properties according to those conditions. |
