Abstract: |
Schiff bases and metal complexes have been synthesied by the condensation of salicyclic aldehyde and o-fenylen-diamine.The structure of the synthesied compounds assigned on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, HNMR spectral studies. All the products were evaluated for their in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activities of the compounds tested against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium lacticolium, Aspergilus niger, Cladasporium resinale, penicillium chrosegenum, Chastomium gloloodium and Trichoderma virideh.These derivatives have vast range of biological activities which benefit us. |
