Personalized Search Engine for Mobiles

ABSTRACT Copy-move forgery is a type of image tampering where a part of the image is copied and pasted somewhere else in the image for manipulating the original image. Many techniques have been suggested to detect such type of tampering with the original image but time complexity is one of the major challenges. In the proposed method this issue has been addressed using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Bacterial Foraging Optimization (BFO).Using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), input gray scale images are divided into blocks and are processed to generate quantization matrix of original and forged images. Bacterial Foraging Optimization (BFO) algorithm is then used to detect the forged region based on classification of weights. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach is faster and robust to multiple copy-move forgery.
