Abstract

ABSTRACT Logistics plays a vital role in the current scenarios transportation operations by managing finished goods from diverse locations. Logistics ensures that supplies are distributed efficiently and on time. The terms supply chain systems and logistics are intertwined in the jargon of operation management. The logistics component of a supply chain management system includes moving items from a warehouse to a distribution center. The logistics networks primary challenge is calculating the time it takes to send something from one location to another. In order to evaluate the success of the logistics operation, simulation was attempted in this paper.
