Abstract The most commonly used building material in rigid pavement is concrete. The conduct of the rigid pavement is now being extended and further research is required to enhance the concretes properties. To solve this issue, researchers concentrate primarily on certain materials that can substitute conventional materials in the construction of pavements. This paper focuses primarily on partial cement substitution in rigid construction of the pavement. Here we are replacing cement with fly ash and lime. These materials have a reduced carrying capacity and poor settling characteristics as their main drawbacks. The concert of these materials can be greatly enhanced by the implementation of reinforcing element to boost its compressive and bending strength for superior durability. The use of natural materials such as jute, coir and bamboo, as fly-ash and lime reinforcing materials, are very cheap and readily accessible in large quantities, with the greatest tearing intensity and even under wet conditions. We substitute cement partly with different portions of fly ash, lime and coir fiber in M30 concrete in our project. Workability tests such as slump cone tests and strength tests such as compression tests and bending strength tests were performed to determine the behaviour of concrete mix.
