Abstract:
In any communication system designers requires a good Bit error rate so the Bit Error Rate of a digital communication system is an important figure of merit used to quantify the integrity of data transmitted through the system. The performance of transmission modes are evaluated by calculating the probability of Bit Error Rate (BER) versus the Signal Noise Ratio (SNR) under the frequently used three wireless channel models (AWGN, Rayleigh and Rician). It consider the different data modulation to analyze the performance that is BER Versus SNR with convolution coding in transmitter and Viterbi decoding in receiver section. This paper compare the BER versus SNR for BPSK and QPSK modulation on AWGN, Rayleigh and Rician fading channel implementing convolution coding on transmitter and Viterbi decoding in receiver.
